What are Wisdom Keepers?
A wise women knows that her body is strong and powerful.
A wise woman knows how her body functions.
A wise woman knows that her health is her responsibility.
The Wisdom Keepers is a class designed to teach girls to take responsibility for their own health.
We teach four basic pillars: Female Anatomy, Menstruation, Birth, and Informed Consent, with the underlying message of self compassion. Classes are taught according to age groups and material is age-appropriate and builds in detail as they grow.
This class is for pre/teen girls and young adult women that are looking for the wisdom in women's health with the support of a community.
This class aims to change the narrative of how we approach women's health by developing love and respect for our bodies, hosting uplifting body discussions, and learning the power of knowing you are the owner of your own body and mind.

Common Questions and Concerns
My daughter already started her period, she doesn’t need this.
So many girls still have tons of questions, but they don’t know who to ask or where to get true and honest answers. What’s normal? Why is this happening to me? How long does this last? Wisdom Keepers creates a safe space for them to seek answers.
Is this just sex-ed?
No. In fact, this class is about girls getting to know their own bodies.
Why does a teen need to know about birth?
Knowledge is power. Wisdom Keepers aims to empower women by returning the generational learning that has been lost in modern culture, thereby mitigating fear, restoring bodily autonomy and confidence.
I already taught my daughter all about this.

The Wisdom Keepers Programs
Baby Bees 9-12 year-olds:
Teaches anatomy and basic menstrual cycle. Advanced preparation to handle the first cycle with confidence. Starts teaching self-compassion and informed consent.
Honey Bees 12-14 year-olds:
This curriculum is the same as the Baby Bees but geared to a slightly more mature student.
Maiden Bees 14-18 year-olds:
Reviews anatomy and the menstrual cycle. Learn the art of respecting the cycle and fostering positive body image. This class also introduces child birth and the physiology of birth.
Queen Bees 18-25 year-olds:
Great for college age girls who really want to have a safe place to ask lots of hard questions. Go deeper into nutrition, anatomy, and self-advocacy.

Class is taught in a series of one (Baby Bees) or two (Maiden/Queen Bees) evening classes or on a weekend. Mothers or female care givers are strongly encouraged to attend. The goal is to enhance the mother/daughter relationship so you can continue to grow together.
